Although construction on Preston Hollow Village is still underway, the list of confirmed tenants continues to grow. Now, Design District’s popular Pakpao Thai Restaurant has announced that it will open a second location in the 42-acre site at the northwest corner of Walnut Hill and Central.

Expect a menu with bold flavors and reasonable prices, plus a colorful, cozy interior similar to that of the Design District location. (Although the Preston Hollow Village spot will have 80 seats — nearly twice the size of the original Pakpao.)

“Each Pakpao will have some unique twists of its own,” Executive Chef and Apheleia Restaurant Group partner Jet Tila says. Chef Tila has quite the culinary background, not to mention more than a few celebrity chef television appearances on shows such as No Reservations and Chopped.

Pakpao joins fellow Preston Hollow Village tenants Modmarket Restaurant and Trader Joe’s (set to open in October.)

According to the release, the restaurant will open sometime in 2015.
