To raise awareness about the growing issue of hearing loss, a local clinic is giving out free hearing evaluations with a chance to win VIP tickets to the Sept. 24 Rangers vs. Astros game.
You can get your ears checked now through Sept. 12 at Connect Hearing‘s Preston Center-area location at 6809 W. Northwest Highway. The company will then award 10 pairs of tickets to a lucky few. The clinic also will host a meet-and-greet 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 16, featuring Toby Harrah, former Rangers manager and Hall of Famer.
The demand for hearing care has grown along with the Baby Boomer population. Connect Hearing reports that 1 and 3 people over age 65 experience hearing loss. Should a hearing aid be recommended at the complimentary evaluation, the clinic will offer a $500 discount off select models as part of the campaign with the Rangers.
