Since 1987, The Trains at NorthPark exhibit has raised money for children and families served by the Ronald McDonald House, providing funds for nearly one-third of the organization’s annual operating budget.

The co-chairs for this year’s installation of trains are community leaders Jamie Singer and Preston Hollow neighbor Tia Wynne. Singer has volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House since high school, and Wynne has taken her two children to see the trains since they were little.

The event’s honorary co-chairs, Old Preston Hollow residents Dr. Jeffrey Fearon and his wife, Regen Fearon, also have a connection to the organization. Dr. Fearon, a craniofacial surgeon, has treated many children who have stayed at the House.

The 2014-2015 Trains at NorthPark exhibit, featuring trains rolling across 1,600 feet of track on a journey across America with various vignettes. will run Nov.22, 2014- Jan. 4. New this year is the Perot Museum, which will be featured in the Dallas cityscape.
