This weekend: North Haven Gardens gallery opening, Santa Days, classical music

Santa Days

North Haven Gardens hosts its holiday open house this Friday from 5-7 p.m. The event also marks the debut of a brand new in-store art gallery, featuring works by Charlotte Lindsey, Stephanie Shroyer, Marian Hirsch, Wind Frills, and Elizabeth Keith Design. Carolers from the Turtle Creek Chorale will serenade you as you taste samples from Bisou Bisou Patisserie and Michelle’s Marshmallows. Various pop-up holiday decorating demonstrations will also be presented throughout the store. Free

Visit Santa Claus and his reindeer at the Plaza at Preston Center this Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm, between Sprinkles and True Food Kitchen. Photos with Santa are complimentary with a monetary donation to the North Texas Food Bank.

Unity of Dallas hosts “Pictures For A Holiday”, a concert featuring the New Texas Symphony Orchestra, this Saturday at 8 p.m. The program will feature Mussorgsky’s “Pictures At An Exhibition” along with several seasonal selections. Non-perishable food items will be accepted for donation to the orchestra’s food drive. Free
