The Cowboys’ season may have painfully ended yesterday, but here’s a bright spot. The W.T. White High School football team took to the field to show its support for alumnus and Dallas Cowboy Terrance Williams before Sunday’s game. They posted this photo via Twitter, saying “@dallascowboys @TerranceWill2  TW from WTW, Bring home a W #83.  From, Your First Team. #finishthefight #dallasisd”.

Williams graduated from W.T. White in 2008, having also attended Marsh Middle School and Nathan Adams Elementary. He’s not the first sports star to come out of our neighborhood school. Alumni also include NFL players Jason Smith, Jean Barrett and Wiley Turner; Major League Baseball’s Bryan Holaday, Trey Beamon and Calvin Murray; professional soccer players Ramón Núñez and Danny Garcia; and the PGA’s Scott Verplank
