In the market for a new purse? Don’t head to Nordstrom just yet. This Saturday, Dallas Police Association Spouses hosts its inaugural Bags for Badges event at Jesuit Preparatory School. Over the course of the evening, you’ll have 20 chances to acquire a designer handbag. All you have to do is purchase a $30 ticket and win a round of bingo.
Hors d’oeuvres and wine are included in the ticket price, but guests are encouraged to BYOB. Proceeds benefit Assist the Officer Foundation, a nonprofit that helps injured policemen and policewomen overcome financial hardship. Even if you don’t get to holler “BINGO,” you’ll go home feeling good.
