2016 will be a hot year for Preston Hollow Village. Literally. That’s when Matchbox, a restaurant known for its wood fired pizzas, moves into the 8,250 square-foot-space behind Trader Joe’s. This is the first Texas location for the Washington D.C.-based restaurant, which is expanding its concept to 48 locations by 2020.

Pies are cooked in custom-built masonry ovens at 800 degrees. More of a burger guy? Matchbox has those too. Also on the menu are salads, sandwiches and a slew of breakfast items. No exact opening date yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
