This Friday, drop your kids off at Town North Family YMCA from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Use those child-free hours to catch up with friends, run errands or take a much needed nap. Your little ones will be in good hands. $30 for members plus $10 for each additional child. Snack included.

Movies are usually watched in silence. Ever feel like yelling at the screen? Act upon that urge Saturday at Inwood Theatre. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” plays at midnight and audience participation is strongly encouraged.

It’s about as far from “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” as you can get, but Bookmarks hosts its KraftyKids event this Sunday at NorthPark Center. After your babes have completed their masterpieces, shop Nordstrom’s anniversary sale. Even new arrivals are discounted.
