This Thursday, meet the designer at Saint Bernard in Inwood Village. While you’re waiting for an autograph, sip champagne and indulge in freshly-spun cotton candy. The event runs from 4-7 p.m.

In an effort to ease the back-to-school blues, Preston Royal Library will host an end of summer bash August 9 from 1-4 p.m. The event commences with face painting and concludes with a screening of “Big Hero 6.”
