World War II ended 70 years ago. That’s a fact worth celebrating, don’t you think? This weekend, the Frontiers of Flight Museum hosts a series of events in honor of the Greatest Generation.

The festivities begin Saturday at 10 a.m., when visitors don their best red bandanas and participate in “Rosies Rally.” The museum hopes to break the Guinness World Record for “the Largest Gathering of People Dressed as a Rosie the Riveter.” Later in the day, guests will hear music from the era, snap pictures in front of Alfred Eisenstaedt’s famous photo and learn the story of General James Harold “Jimmy” Dolittle, an American aviation pioneer.

On Sunday, the commemorative weekend continues with a speech by Hershel Woodrow “Woody” Williams, who received the Medal of Honor for his bravery at the Battle of Iwo Jima.
