On Sept. 12, TOOTSIES, a woman’s boutique on Preston Road, will host a refreshingly real fashion show. Expect to see models of all shapes and sizes, because this annual event celebrates health and physical diversity.

Ticket sales for the ESTEEM fashion show benefit The Elisa Project, a local charity that helps individuals conquer eating disorders. If something on the runway catches your eye – a BCBG dress perhaps, or maybe a cozy sweater by Elizabeth and James – go ahead and snatch it up. With all purchases, 10 percent will be donated to the nonprofit.

You may get the chance to rub elbows with KISS FM’s Kellie Rasberry. She and her daughter have signed on as co-chairs along with fundraising maven Yvonne Crum. There’s no shortage of notable names on the event’s program. Former WFAA Newscaster Gloria Campos will serve as emcee. To learn more or purchase a ticket, click here
