Whether you think you’re the next Sofia Coppola or just like carrying around a camcorder, consider sending your work to Women in Film – Dallas (WIF). The Preston Hollow-based nonprofit is accepting submissions for its 14th annual Chick Flicks Film Festival until September 4.

Entries should be 25 minutes or less. All genres are welcome. Accepted shorts will be screened October 22 at the Angelika Film Center.

The Chick Flicks Film Festival is one of WIF – Dallas’ largest fundraising events. Ticket sales help the organization provide grants, educational workshops and networking opportunities for “women working in film, video, and screen-based media.”
