Better start planning your dog’s Halloween ensemble. On October 24, the Friends of Northaven Trail will host a K-9 costume contest and there is sure to be tons of competition. The event is part of the trail’s My Park Day celebration. Guests should arrive at the Virginia Cook Respite area at 8 a.m. for landscaping activities, free exercise classes and face painting. Don’t worry about lunch – The Hamburger Man will take care of you. Stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, check out this flyer:
