Last night was far from peaceful at the Avondale Parc Apartments on Stone Canyon Road. Around 11:43 p.m. Dallas police officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the complex. While en route they received an unrelated call, alerting them to gunfire at roughly the same location. On the other side of the apartment building, they saw a Latin male with a handgun. According to the report, “officers discharged their weapons striking the subject.” The man was then taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
