There’s been no shortage of excitement at The Lamplighter School. Dr. Lee Berger, the scientist who discovered Homo Naledi, visited the campus Wednesday. He was preceded by Olympic figure skater Ksenia Gonchar.

Gonchar, whose child attends the school, stopped by September 25 for “Let the Fun Begin,” an annual carnival celebrating “international athletic competition.” Students enjoyed a plethora of rides and games and learned how injured athletes are treated by attending a mock ER clinic.
