The Dallas Arts District was transformed into “an urban playground” Friday night for Aurora, an annual exhibition of light, video, performance and sound.

Roughly 50,000 people attended the event, and they had plenty to see — 80 artists from far and wide displayed their creations. Boone Munson, Michael Schaper, Jack Kiran and Edward Heidarian were among them.

The boys attend The Winston School, where they worked with art instructor Emmanuel Gillespie to construct a large scale piece out of metal and lights. In response to Aurora’s theme, “All Together Now,” they used the materials to spell the word “All.” Click here to learn more and check out photos of their work below.
