Mourning the end of the State Fair? Maybe Arthur Kramer Elementary’s 10th annual Colts Carnival can help soothe the ache.

This Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m., stop by the neighborhood school for “delicious food, thrilling rides and games with prizes.” Vendors include Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse Catering, Sprinkles Cupcakes and Society Bakery. But don’t overeat or you might be too sluggish to enjoy the zip line and obstacle course.

Admission is $5 and proceeds help provide Kramer Elementary with things like classroom supplies and new technology.

“We like to think of our Colts Carnival as a community event, not just for our Kramer students and families, but also for the neighborhood,” says Susan Keith, Kramer PTA president. “I can’t think of a better way to give back to this amazing school while having fun in the process. To date, the Colts Carnival has raised more than $62,000 to help Kramer enrich the education of its students and I know this will be another incredible year!”
