In 2011, Dallas native Vanilla Ice showed up at Sean and Erica Heatley’s Preston Hollow home, not to rap, but to redesign their guesthouse. The remodel cost $30,000 and was featured on the second season of the DIY Network TV series “The Vanilla Ice Project.”

So, you’re wondering why Vanilla Ice went from rapping to remodeling? Because he can. After “Ice Ice, Baby”, Rob Van Winkle started flipping houses and thus, discovered his love for home design. But, he’s still banking on the rhymes, promising to make your house “nice nice, baby”.
