Uncle Calvin’s welcomes singer-songwriter Bernice Lewis this Friday. She has studied under some of the greats: Bobby McFerrin, Alex DeGrassi, Guy van Duser, Rosanne Cash and Cris Williamson to name a few. Before there was the Oscar-nominated “Room” there was “The Room,” a 2003 black comedy by Tommy Wiseau. In spite of many horrendous reviews, the film has become a cult classic and the Inwood Theatre will host a midnight screening this Saturday.
