Preston Hollow Elementary is one of 26 DISD campuses slated to offer two-way dual language programming next year. Children in pre-kindergarten through first grade are eligible to enroll. They’ll take classes in both English and Spanish with the goal of becoming bilingual.

According to Dallas ISD, “as students continue to advance their grade level grades, the program also extends in order ensure students continue to advance in their native and non-native languages.”

A few other neighborhood schools — like Withers, Kramer, Walnut Hill and Nathan Adams —already provide a two-way dual language option. The curriculum has proven popular among parents city-wide.

At 9 a.m. on April 9, Dallas ISD will host a two-way dual language informational fair at Townview High School. Click here to register.
