A home near Kramer Elementary, in the 7100 block of Mason Dells, was burglarized on March 26. According to an email from the victim, the thieves initially tried to enter the home by cutting “the screen of a bedroom window facing the backyard, but the double pane glass stopped them.” The perpetrators eventually entered the house “by cutting the kitchen window screen.” The first alarm sounded at 12:26 p.m., the second at 12:53 p.m. Police responded, but the suspects had already fled the scene.

Beverley Houston, who heads the initiative, says we can expect additional patrols this summer because so many people have donated money to the cause. Click here for details.
