Hockaday’s Nasher-Haemisegger Family Center for the Arts will open this fall, right on schedule.

According to a 2014 edition of the school’s student newspaper, the center “will house an art gallery with moveable walls in order to accommodate and customize exhibitions, an outdoor amphitheater, a new Black Box Theater, new orchestra and choir spaces” and a spacious auditorium.

Want an excuse to check out the facility? Hockaday already has its fall theater performances scheduled. The girls will perform “The Boxer” by Matt Lyle, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” “Hamlet” and more. Click here for details.
