Bad news:
Smashing Times, the mosaic-making studio at Preston and Royal, closed its doors in December.
Good news:
Owner Robin Oldham hasn’t given up on the business. She’s now traveling with her mosaic supplies.
“I am now more available to come to you and provide the same fun and creative experience as you’ve enjoyed in the past,” she said in an email. “If you need materials or if you’re interested in setting up a party, please call me at: 214-363-2088.”
Fun fact:
Robin Oldham is the sister of acclaimed fashion designer Todd Oldham. Her other brother, Brad Oldham, is the sculptor behind Deep Ellum’s “Traveling Man”.
