The 2016 presidential election is heating up, so the George W. Bush Presidential Center is offering an insider’s look at the campaign process. “Path to the Presidency” includes an interactive experience where visitors can make their own speeches, pose for campaign posters and other activities to give them a taste of life on the campaign trail. There will also be a display looking back at the history of presidential races in America with photographs, documents and other memorabilia. Tickets range in price from $0-17.

Take mom to pick out her own Mother’s Day present this Sunday with a visit to the NorthPark Center. As an added perk, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will be offering a mini concert of Mozart’s “Piano Quintet in E-Flat” at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.  in NorthCourt, located on Level One between Nordstrom and Macy’s.

A Family Fun Run ending in a bagel buffet is an option for Mother’s Day this Sunday. The Jewish Community Center hosts its 30th annual Bagel Run, which includes a 10k, 5k and children’s run at 7900 Northaven Road. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and cost $30, with special pricing for families. The event concludes with a bagel feast complete with plenty of smear and lox.
