The Primrose School of Preston Hollow always celebrates the season with a charitable spring fling. It’s a chance for families at the private preschool to spend a day together while also giving back to those in need.

The Hawaiian luau theme got people in the spirit for an eveningĀ of games, a photo booth and a silent auction. In total, the night raised $10,550.

A total ofĀ $5,350 will go to Vogel Alcove, a Dallas-based nonprofit that provides early education programsĀ for at-risk children, specifically children who are homeless or have seen violence in their home. The rest of the funds will go to Save the Children, an international organization fighting to help the most impoverished youth in the world, and the Primrose Children’s Foundation (which, oddly, doesn’t seem to have a website) for early education programs.
