Volunteers build playground for Girls Inc. in a few hours

The kids of Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas now have a nicer place to blow off steam.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group nonprofit Let’s Play teamed up with KaBoom to provide equipment and volunteers to build a new playground at the Girls Inc. campus near Love Field.

It took about five and a half hours Wednesday for the team of volunteers to create the new playground.

Girls Inc. is a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold.
