A reason better than any other to see the new Ghostbusters or The Purge: Election Year…

Local movie theater/diner Studio Movie Grill, located off Central Expressway at Royal Lane is hosting a fundraiser, the CEO says, “to show its steadfast support for the fallen Dallas police officers.”

All ticket sale proceeds tomorrow, Wednesday, will go to the Dallas-based Assist The Officer Foundation, which provides financial assistance to police officers who have lost their source of income due to a serious injury, illness or other catastrophic event.

“Dallas has suffered an extremely terrifying and heartbreaking event,” founder and CEO Brian Schultz says.

“The only true way for us to get through this tragedy is by staying united, as one strong city. On Wednesday, we will join with our guests to raise money for the families of the five brave officers who lost their lives, as well as those who were injured in the recent ambush.”
