This Saturday, bring the kiddos to Bookmarks at NorthPark Center and experience a sample of Chinese culture without ever leaving Preston Hollow. Linda Li, of the Park Cities Chinese School, will share a story in Mandarin Chinese, and Cheryl Collett will translate it into English. Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m.

See a modern portrayal of a Shakespearean tale at the Greer Garson Theatre’s Owen Arts Center at SMU.  Performances of  “Twelfth Night” are scheduled at 8 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets cost $8 for students and faculty, $14 for adults and $11 for seniors.

This weekend also is your last chance to stop by the George W. Bush Presidential Center to see the Portraits of Courage exhibit. More than 60 portraits of members of the U.S. military painted by former President Bush are on display for the last time this Friday and Saturday.
