Somewhere in Irving, there’s a teenage boy whose smooth moves are the stuff of romantic comedies, as proven last week at Preston Hollow’s Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Fox 4 reports.

Ursuline student Cayli Lucia wasn’t quite sure what to make of it when flashcards of famous Cowboy players started arriving for her at school each day last week. They were from Jack Corrigan, a sophomore at Cistercian College Prep in Irving, who was hatching one heck of a homecoming proposal. With a little help from his mom, he arranged f0r Cowboy football legend Troy Aikman to be on hand with a special message for Lucia on Friday.

When she was called into the office, she saw Corrigan and the career quarterback holding a sign that read, “Cayli, please say yes because Jack is Aik’an to take you to HoCo!”

Lucia told Fox 5, “I opened the door and here he is with this giant flag of a poster asking me to homecoming and of course I was excited I already couldn’t speak and then I turned slightly to my left — there’s Troy Aikman! Oh my gosh I lost it.”

Of course after a proposal like that, she said yes. Check out the photos of her reaction.
