New York artist Linda Stein‘s tapestries have made their way to Dallas, and the message woven into the fabric highlights one of the darkest times in world history.

The Museum of Biblical Arts and The National Center for Jewish Art, in conjunction with the University of North Texas and the Onstead Institute, has brought “Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females” to the Preston Hollow museum.

The mixed-media tapestries in the exhibition pay tribute to women who opposed the Nazi regime during World War II.

The exhibit runs from Oct. 26- Dec. 16, and an artist’s reception is scheduled Oct. 25 from 7-8:30 p.m. You can learn more about both here.
