There’s quite some time until Primrose School of Preston Hollow pre-kindergartners and kindergartners turn 18, but that didn’t stop them from practicing their civic duty on Tuesday morning.

Students lined up at the polls promptly at 8 a.m. to determine who would be the presidential Primrose Friend mascot and what snack would be served that day.

To receive “I Voted!” stickers, students needed to show voter I.D. cards and cast a ballot.

While the mock election’s results may not be as impactful as the 2016 presidential election, the voters-in-training had the chance to become involved in the community and experience the process itself.
