If you’re the type who refuses to purchase a kindle and loves sifting through library shelves, you’ll be happy to know an independent bookstore is opening right here in our neighborhood.

Located at the corner of Preston and Royal, Interabang Books is expected to open in May between Sample House & Candle Shop and Hollywood Feed, the Dallas Morning News reports. The 5,000-square-foot shop will offer fiction, creative nonfiction and children’s titles, as well as a kid’s stage and space for book signings.

In an interview with the news outlet, general manager Jeremy Ellis called the location a “literary sweet spot in Dallas” and said the store will thrive because it will “carry books that we’re reading and want you to be reading.”

(And in case you were wondering, an interabang is a hybrid between a question mark and exclamation point. )
