One woman was injured in a Preston Road shooting on Saturday

A woman was shot in the forearm Saturday after three men robbed her near her car parked in the 12800 block of Preston Road.

The Dallas Police Department arrived at the scene of the shooting after 1 a.m. They learned a woman stopped to grab her belongings from the trunk of her car when three men exited a dark-colored SUV and demanded the items.

One reached into the car to grab them, police say, and another showed his handgun. The woman was shot in the forearm as she fled on foot.
