This summer camp isn’t only for kids

Camp PVN is the same as many other summer camps — except that the camp goers span across generations.

Presbyterian Village North residents lead the sports and activities that kids participate in throughout the week. The senior living community, located just across U.S. 75, partnered with Preston Hollow Presbyterian and NorthPark Presbyterian Church to host the multigenerational camp.

WFAA recently met Frank Lacana, an 87-year-old resident who taught Simon, then 12, how to play chess a year ago. Even after summer camp ended, the duo met twice a month to practice the game.
