Nature’s Plate is coming to Preston Hollow this winter

In a few months, neighborhood vegans will have another place to grab a smoothie or a meal.

Nature’s Plate is coming to Preston Forest Square this December. Sisters Annette Baker and Marianne Lacko launched the vegan restaurant in Lake Highlands three years ago. Since then, Baker and Lacko have opened a second spot in East Dallas and do pick-up locations in Plano and Oak Cliff.

“We are driven to share this concept with others and make it easier to add real food to their diets while cutting out processed, factory-farmed items,” Lacko told the Advocate in 2016. “We know from personal experience – having been vegan for more than 10 years – that a plant-based diet, based on whole, unprocessed food, can do wonders for energy level, weight maintenance and athletic ability.”
