North Texas Giving Day
Help take part in the most charitable day of the year, when thousands of donors across the state help bolster the coffers of North Texas nonprofits. As the country’s largest and most successful Giving Day, the pressure is on to bring in even more than the record-breaking $37 million raised last year. Organized by the Communities Foundation of Texas, this event raises millions of dollars for dozens of neighborhood nonprofits ranging from Ursuline Academy and the Jewish Community Center of Dallas, to The Family Place and the Junior League of Dallas. Charities take part in friendly rivalries to try to boost donations, which can be made online or by phone to the charity of your choice. Head over to NorthPark Center to see the fundraising in action with a slew of activities designed to get people to donate.
