Finally, a North Dallas dessert shop that doesn’t ruin cookie dough by baking it

Cookie dough was once something most only scraped from the bottom of a bowl or indulged in with ice cream.

Earlier this year, cookie dough shops became trendy, with several opening in New York and Illinois. Soon, northern Dallasites will have easy access to the sweet treat. The Dough Dough is slated to open at the northwest corner of Preston and Forest in February 2018.

Founded by SMU graduate Gina Ginsburg, the dessert shop will offer a dozen cookie dough varieties. Each recipe includes heat-treated flour and pasteurized eggs to minimize any fears of foodborne illness. (Not that it’s really all that common anyway.)

Even though the storefront won’t open for another three months, The Dough Dough already accepts email orders.
