#FBF: Get to know your neighbors, won’t you?

Successful businessmen, reality TV sensations, professional athletes and even a former president are our neighbors.

It’s common knowledge that Dirk Nowitzki and Mark Cuban own digs in Preston Hollow, along with two members of the “Real Housewives of Dallas” cast, LeeAnne Locken and Cary Deuber.

But not all of us are famous. That’s why we recently launched the feature “Better Know a Neighbor,” which highlights residents who have quirky jobs, lead atypical lives or simply have a knack for helping others.

In September, we talked to Mary Rendleman, who was LeAnne Rimes’ first manager. Then we interviewed Jeff Kitner, the president of Friends of the Northaven Trail, in October.
