Dallas ISD is considering converting Sudie L. Williams Elementary to a magnet school.
Students would be bussed to the K.B. Polk Center for Academically Talented and Gifted on Victoria Avenue during the 2018-2019 school year. Sudie Williams Elementary would later reopen as a magnet school for students in grades 4-8.
A meeting to discuss these changes and solicit feedback is scheduled Monday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. at the elementary school, 4518 Pomona Road.
