If you bought cream cheese from Panera Bread recently, it’s best to toss the dairy product in the trash.

The restaurant company recalled its 2 oz. and 8 oz. products after Listeria, a food-borne bacteria with a knack for causing flu-like symptoms, was found in several samples.

“Despite the finding in only one day of production, Panera Bread is issuing a voluntary recall of all varieties of the 2 oz. and 8 oz. cream cheese,” the company said in a news release. “The products included in the recall are all varieties of unexpired 2 oz. and 8 oz. cream cheese products with an expiration date on or before 4/2/18.”

If you frequent the two Panera Bread locations in our neighborhood, now may not be the best time to satisfy your bagel and cream cheese cravings.
