The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce is undergoing leadership changes. Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Carol Short will retire Aug. 1. Neighbor Jeff Kitner will start as the organization’s chief operating officer April 1. Kitner, an attorney for Jackson Walker for the last 16 years, serves as City Council District 11 Park Board member and is president of the Board of the Friends of Northaven Trail. He says the opening for the new NDCC building, at 10707 Preston Road, is March 20 at 5 p.m. “I’m looking forward to getting to know even more businesses, community members, and others contributing to quality of life initiatives in North Dallas, and, of course, learning from Carol before she retires,” says Kitner.
