John Tesar is taking over a brewery (just for one evening)

John Tesar, arguably Dallas’ most well-known chef, will take over Oak Highlands Brewery in Lake Highlands for a pop-up dinner this month.

The Preston Hollow neighbor will prepare a four-course meal Wednesday, April 25. Each course will be paired with one of Oak Highlands’ beers, of course.

Tesar — whose culinary expertise matches his occasionally unconventional antics, to say the least — has been nominated for several James Beard Awards. He currently runs the Dallas steakhouse “Knife.”
