Dallas Morning News columnist and Preston Hollow neighbor Robert Wilonsky did an excellent job reporting on the Central Congregational Church on Royal Lane, near Dallas North Tollway. He reports that the church has a display of 96 orange crosses, Stars of David and stars and crescents planted in the church’s front yard. The display symbolizes the 96 gun-violence deaths that occur in this country every day, including murders and suicides, according to stats kept by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At the bottom it reads, “#guncontrolnow.”
