Jesuit College Preparatory School filed a zoning change application June 11 with the City of Dallas’ Department of Development Services to develop 27.18 acres at the northwest corner of Inwood Road and Willow Lane.
The additional square footage would be used for a natatorium and awnings, administrative offices and the relocation of a chapel. In addition, there would be a “porte cochere” at the front of the school, a canopy to the school campus at the entrance to the theater and a new traffic management plan. A porte cochere is a roofed structure extending from the entrance of a building over a driveway that shelters those getting in and out of vehicles.
