If you end up driving along U.S. 75 this weekend, here’s your warning that patience is mandatory.
Three northbound lanes between Royal and Forest lanes will be closed all weekend for maintenance and bridge deck repairs, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. Although two lanes will remain open, most of the traffic will be diverted onto the frontage road.
A segment of the White Rock Bike Trail that’s located underneath the bridge also will be closed.
The closures are slated to start at 9 p.m. Friday, June 22 and continue until Monday, June 25 at 5 a.m. So take a deep breath and download a traffic app or podcast, because delays are expected.
