Another restaurant casualty is upon us. After serving customers of 20 years, Blue Mesa Grill at Northwest Highway has shuttered.

The Southwestern-style restaurant opted not to renew its lease, Karen Hartzell, general manager and operating partner, said in a statement.

“We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your friendship and patronage over the years,” she wrote. “We will miss seeing you at the Northwest Hwy. restaurant but are excited about our new ventures.”

It may be comforting to know the restaurants’ Addison, Plano and Fort Worth locations will remain open. Most of the Preston Hollow location’s staff, including Hartzell, is relocating to its Addison counterpart.
