The Dallas Women’s Foundation will have its 33rd annual luncheon at the Hilton Anatole this fall. The long-standing tradition will take place on October 30, 2018 and will have a world-renowned guest: Academy Award-nominated director, Ava DuVernay, most known for her work directing Selma and A Wrinkle in Time.

She is blazing the trail for black female filmmaker in Hollywood. Michele Norris from NPR, the first black female host of All Things Considered, will interview DuVernay at the event.

The Dallas Women’s Foundation recently announced that Toyota Motors North America (TMNA) will be the presenting sponsor for this year’s luncheon.

“’The Foundation is the trusted leader in advancing equity and opportunity for all women and girls,’ said Bonnie Clinton TMNA’s general manager, indirect procurement,” as stated in a press release by the Dallas Women’s Foundation.

Tables of 10 can be purchased for a minimum of $5,000 at the Foundation website.
