Call it a comeback. Fireside Pies, which closed after a kitchen fire caused significant damage, is slated to reopen this October.

A month before Golden Tree Restaurants acquired the 14-year-old pizzeria, an electrical fire ravaged the restaurant. Owners anticipated that renovations would take three months, the Dallas Morning News reported, but the revamp turned into a nine-month ordeal. Golden Tree applied for Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission permits this week, according to Eater Dallas.

It’ll only be a month until you can order a prosciutto & parm or hot n’ crumbled pizza once again. In the meanwhile, there’s always its original location on Henderson Avenue.

Fireside Pies also has plans to open a location near Alamo Drafthouse in Lake Highlands in early 2019.
