Plenty of healthy restaurants have recently opened in Preston Hollow. Slater’s 50/50 is not one of them.
The West Coast chain is opening at Preston and Forest, Eater Dallas reports. The burger joint’s claim to fame is its half-beef, half-bacon patty and creative toppings like grilled pineapple and Fritos. Options include the enchilada burger and the p.b. & jellousy, with thick-cut bacon, peanut butter and strawberry jelly on a honey wheat bun.
Slater’s 50/50 first entered the Dallas restaurant scene in May 2017, when it replaced the historic Greenville Bar and Grille on Lower Greenville.
