A few weeks after Snooze, an A.M. Eatery and Civil Pour started serving customers at The Hill, four more restaurants announced that they were joining the shopping center’s lineup.

The mixed-use development, at Walnut Hill Lane and U.S. 75, has undergone a $90-million makeover.  It’s hosting a launch party this weekend with live music, games and food and drink samples.

Before Dallas-based partnership Capref Manager LLC bought the shopping center, its business was inconsistent. The massive adult store sign facing the highway wasn’t welcoming for passersby. The family who owned the development from 1980 to 2014 didn’t invest in maintenance, and popular chains like Kroger vacated the property.

Capref incorporated ample green space, revamped each storefront facade and added about 19 tenants, including four restaurants slated to open in 2019.
